Women in the workplace
Leighton Contractors has introduced a range of initiatives to enhance the recruitment, retention and advancement of women in our business.
We aim to empower women on our project sites to further develop their management and leadership skills in preparation for more senior roles.
Some of our key areas of focus include:
- Diversity and inclusion measures as part of business planning
- Identifying and supporting the career development of women on projects
- Continued deployment of EEO and cultural awareness training
- Providing more flexible work options for our people
On 29 May 2015, Leighton Contractors lodged its annual compliance report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, and is compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 for the 2014 – 2015 period.
