Leighton Contractors has been servicing the resources sector for more than 30 years. In early 2006 we purchased the mining assets of Henry Walker Eltin (now operating as HWE Mining), an industry leader in large-scale materials handling.

With the integration of HWE Mining, Leighton Contractors now operates at 16 mine sites across Australia and New Zealand and has proven capabilities in both underground and surface mining as well as materials handling minerals processing.
